Hätälä’s story began in 1938 with Juho Isohätälä selling fish on the market square right by the sea in Oulu. Over the years, that modest market stand turned into Finland’s leading fish producer, employing over 200 fish-processing professionals. All our products are produced in Oulu in Northern Finland. We exclusively use responsibly farmed or caught fish in our products.
