Hätälä’s Flamed salmon Texas BBQ has been selected as a finalist in the Best Retail Product category at the 2024 Seafood Excellence Global Awards. Hätälä has reached the finals of this prestigious competition for the third consecutive year with its products.
The winners of the competition will be chosen and announced during the Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global event on April 23, 2024. The event will take place from April 23rd to 25th in Barcelona, Spain. Hätälä will also participate in the event as an exhibitor.
The Barcelona Seafood Expo is upon us, with that bringing the prestige Global Seafood Excellence product awards event. Hätälä proudly announces it’s third consecutive appearance in the finals. This brings a sense of pride knowing that Hätälä’s products, prepared in a traditional Finnish way are recognized for their freshness, taste, quality and uniqueness and sought after by customers around the world.
Flamed salmon is a very traditional product in Finland and many can relate to sitting around a fire pit waiting for the salmon to flame, while having a good time with friends. In southern European markets, Flamed salmon has become known especially as a Christmas specialty. At Hätälä we wanted to take a flavor of the season, Texas BBQ, to bring flamed salmon also to the barbecuing season, offering our global customers another delicious Hätälä product.
Entering the competition with Texas BBQ flamed salmon, we feel very confident that the taste and quality of this product will convince the panel of judges and our product will be chosen at the top of it’s category. This is a great way to make Finnish products recognized on a global market!
